Better Raw Materials Tarkett’s ID Premier range is based on up to 52% natural raw materials, such as salt and mineral fillers. We use local suppliers as far as we can to reduce the environmental impact from transportation.

Resource Stewardship Tarkett’s IP Premier range is produced in Lentzweiler, Luxembourg. The factory applies an environmental management system (ISO 14001) and has continuously reduced its environmental impact since 2003. Over the last five years, our Sedan factory has made numerous improvements : The air from the factory is filtered through a biofilter where it is cleaned by bacteria has resulted : 14% reduction in VOC emissions to the air.

People-friendly Spaces Tarkett’s ID Premier range delivers valuable health, hygiene and welfare benefits: The TopClean X-treme Performance surface treatment reduces the use of water, detergent and energy, and ensures easy and low-cost cleaning and maintenance needing no wax or polish for life. Low VOC emissions - 100 μg/m3 at 28 days – below demands in European Standard (1000 μg/m3 ), contributing to good indoor air quality. Modular system for superior design flexibility.

Reuse and Recycle Tarkett was one of the first flooring companies to recycle post-productio waste, and has also developed a system for collection prost-installation waste. Lentzweiler is the recycling centre for PVC-based floorcoverings in Western Europe, recycling more than 25.000 tons every year.
