Atmo Hauts-de-France, chose Tarkett’s AirMaster® carpet tiles and iD Square vinyl acoustic flooring, both of which contribute to better indoor air quality, for the renovation of its Lille offices. A total surface area of 2,170 square meters were covered.

Atmo Hauts-de-France Air Observatory monitors, informs and supports air quality. Therefore, it was important for them to provide their employees with healthier spaces and an excellent indoor air quality. Naturally, they chose to collaborate with Tarkett, because of its continued commitment to the health and well-being of its customers.

The following floor coverings were used:
• Airmaster®: Tarkett's Cradle to Cradle certified textile tiles that retain fine dust from the environment
• iD Square: Tarkett’s modular vinyl range with the lowest VOC emissions

The AirMaster® range was selected for the office space, because its design is inspired by natural materials, which adds a warm ambiance to the modern office environment. The floor covering also has the patented AirMaster® technology, an advanced feature that reduces the concentration of fine dust, four times more effectively than traditional carpets.

The iD Square modular vinyl collection was selected (in the colour Wood) for the cafeteria space, because its textile tiles blend perfectly with this high foot-traffic area. In addition to its acoustic insulation, iD square is phthalate-free and its floating installation system helps avoid the risk of indoor air pollution, sometimes associated with the use of adhesives.
