Tarkett will play an active role in this year's Dutch Design Week by partnering with Elle Decoration Netherlands, as well as presenting the outcome of a new collaboration with Studio RENS: an experimental exhibition entitled Lino Undercover.
Tarkett and ELLE Decoration Netherlands have once again joined forces to create a new, special edition magazine called, Material Futures. With the design industry’s future in mind, it is important to understand what we can do as designers and consumers, when addressing challenges facing the design industry and changing our relationship to the materials we rely on. The magazine will be launched at the fair on October 25. The launch event is ‘Invitation only’ but should you be interested to attend, please contact your local Tarkett representative.
Tarkett and Studio RENS reveal the hidden side of linoleum through an experimental exhibition where they uncover the hidden facets of linoleum by presenting three new spatial applications of this well-known material.
Stripping, slicing, dissecting, reversing, fitting together and colouring: Lino Undercover has the leading role, in a revealing exhibition featuring three new applications. Pure linoleum, of course, but exactly different from what we're accustomed to (only the natural scent remains).
Throughout Dutch Design Week, representatives from Tarkett and designers Renee Mennen and Stefanie van Keijsteren will be there in person to talk about the outcomes of their collaboration.
