Three designers. Three materials. Infinite lives.
At Tarkett, we believe circularity begins with design. When we design for circularity, products and materials are created with their next life in mind. Waste is the starting point for something new. Endings unfold into beginnings, time and again.
Tarkett has invited three visionary designers — Yinka Ilori, Laurids Gallée and Christian + Jade — to explore how carpet, homogeneous vinyl and linoleum can be used creatively, not as finished flooring products but as material starting points on a circular journey.
As part of the collaborative process, we've taken each designer inside one of our factories, to see and understand the changing states of materials as they move through Tarkett's circular systems. The material-led designs have been informed and inspired by these immersive factory visits; each designer telling a material story that is truly unique to their individual approach and interpretation of circularity.
Our showcase challenges the perception that circularity is a purely technical endeavour — inviting us to consider it as a creative practice, shaped as much by imagination and expression as by technical skill and innovation.
With thoughtful design, endings become beginnings.

Visitors will have the opportunity to meet the designers during daily meet-and-greet sessions throughout the festival. Additionally, Tarkett will host informal tours and talks in the space, inviting the public to take part in the discussion.
