With dozens of branches throughout The Netherlands, Alpina is a leading insurance distribution platform that provides advice to businesses and private clients regarding insurance, mortgages, pensions, and brokerage.

The company was looking to revamp its office in Kampen, The Netherlands, and used sustainable project furnishers from .pet projectinrichters to redesign the new office according to the principles of activity-based work, which involves prioritising local purchasing and reusing existing materials.

DESSO Iconic carpet tiles were expertly installed by Ecomfort. With the lowest carbon footprint in Europe, these carpet tiles can be fully recycled after use using Tarkett’s take back and recycling programme, ReStart. This closed loop recycling system guarantees that DESSO carpet tiles get a second life, without ending up in landfill or going to incineration.
