Avo Consulting

Avo Consulting is a new consulting company, based in Norway, that solves business challenges using innovative technology.

In 2023, they moved into offices in Schweigaards gate, Oslo. When the project was presented to the interior architects at Studio Noor AS, Avo was clear that they wanted their new premises to reflect the firm's youthful identity, with community and flexibility as key priorities.

Activity-based zones

The workplace is designed according to the principles of an activity-based office, and divided into four zones:

• Active zone: where teamwork thrives in stimulating surroundings
• Focus zone: where calmness and concentration flourish
• Social zone: where the emphasis is on community and social interaction
• The project department: a versatile space that can be adapted to suit various events and workshops

The project department is a multifunctional zone, designed with room for additional workplaces and future growth in mind. According to Studio Noor, it was a significant challenge to transform the space into functional zones:

"The premises Avo moved into had many open rooms with hard surfaces on the walls and windows, therefore it was important to create different functions for each of the rooms."

Creative use of colours and arrangement of the floor materials helped define and separate areas. The interior design incorporates elements from Avo Consulting's identity, including their iconic "gadgets", which were incorporated subtly and consistently in the decor, flooring, and graphics.

Circular flooring

The interior architect carefully considered all materials, choosing carpet tiles and floor coverings for their patterns, colours, and green credentials. Specially designed furniture also used Tarkett’s recyclable vinyl collection, iQ Surface, to create a holistic design in social zones.

The end result is a vibrant, inspiring, and inclusive office environment that not only reflects Avo Consulting's identity, but is a functional meeting place, learning arena, and work area. The welcoming and cozy atmosphere that greets visitors and employees is proof of a successful implementation of the client's vision.
