Charlton Morris

Tarkett UK had the pleasure of working with Harrogate based Commercial Interior Design Studio ruCREATIVE following the successful business growth and expansion of the recruitment practice, Charlton Morris.

The vision for this project was to match the businesses successful growth and to enhance a big part of the Charlton Morris culture of collaboration, through giving people the best possible experience in the newly renovated meeting spaces, phone booths and even zen areas.

Design

Creating agile working spaces that empower employees to work how, where and when they choose was the primary goal for Charlton Morris.

ruCREATIVE and Tarkett wanted to support this fresh and flexible way of workingby specifying flooring that replicates the essence of nature, with soft patterns and muted colours.

The Tarkett ID Inspirations Loose Lay in Modern Terazzo Black, DESSO Futurity and ID Inspirations 55, Dry back in Terazzo Classic Nero quickly became the obvious choice for Tarkett’s Sam Crossland and ruCREATIVE’s Rob Umpleby.

The final results in Charlton Morris’ new space highlight how the three collections work in harmony together and bring a fresh and mindful experience through contrasting surfaces and textures, promoting an inviting hybrid working space for all visitors and employees.

Sustainability

Recycle, renew, revolove: The irregular, raw and untamed textured aesthetic in the DESSO Futurity Carpet Tile collection offers a true statement flooring option that doesn’t cost the planets health.

Available in Tarkett’s Circular Selection of products, the DESSO Futurity collection successfully achieves Cradle to Cradle certification with approximately 64% of recycled content in the product and is also 100% closed loop recylable at Tarkett’s Carpet Recycling Centre in the Netherlands.

Created to provide a healthier flooring option and most popular for its use in modular design, the iD Inspiration loose lay is 100% phthalate-free and 100% recyclable via Tarkett’s ReStart programme.
