Cygnific
2024 | Amsterdam , Netherlands
Cygnific is an international customer contact centre for the likes of Air France, KLM, and Rituals. As a workplace whose employees represent over 30 different nationalities, their new office space needed to reflect the diversity of their staff. Architects and installers, Colliers and de Kruijff b.v. were inspired by six climate zones: continental, rainforest, tundra, desert, savannah and mediterranean. Each area featured colourful Tarkett carpeting, bringing dynamism and energy to every space.
The new workspace includes a café on the ground floor and flexible hybrid work zones on higher levels. The project used sustainable carpeting and linoleum, including 2730 m² DESSO Natural Nuances carpet tiles, 520 m² DESSO Fields carpet tiles, and 80m² of Originale xf2 lino. Different colours helped accent each zone, giving every space a unique character. A big focus on sustainability saw Cradle to Cradle® certified floors used, all of which can be taken back after use via Tarkett’s ReStart®. Our take-back and recycling programme collects old flooring material and installation off-cuts, diverting them from landfill so they can be transformed into new floors.
The end result is an inspiring workplace that prioritises collaboration and growth – an office where colour and sustainability have helped build a future-oriented work experience that perfectly matches Cygnific's values.
Making conscious choices. For people and planet.
