Hospital General de Elda
2021 | Alicante, Spain
The Intensive Care Unit (ICU) on the 3rd floor of the Elda General Hospital was remodeled by the Goelin Arquitectos studio. This initiative was a first step in updating and improving its services, so that the hospital can provide more comprehensive healthcare. In total, there was approximately 1,275 square meters that were remodeled.
The remodeling included considerably expanding each bed space and connecting them to a central control system, in order to optimize resources and personnel. Additionally, the administrative offices will be on the same floor as the ICU in order to facilitate services and operations.
Various Tarkett homogeneous vinyl floorings were installed:
- 1800 square meters of iQ Granit
- 600 square meters of iQ Toro SC
- 150 square meters of Granit Multisafe
