Working together to meet one goal

Moorland 4, is a coworking space occupied by a number of companies. For each of these companies creativity is central to their work, so an inspiring work environment is therefore essential. The right work environment encourages their talent and creativity, contributing to their success. Furthermore, an innovative interior design promotes productivity and inspiration, as well as provides ample space for both individual and collaborative work.

The goal of the renovation was to find a look that expresses the shared identity of all the companies at Moorland 4. So the first step was to identify the main requirements of the companies and base the new design on those needs. These were the results :

* More consulting space

* An attractive and open work space

* Better acoustics

Based on this information, Visievormgevers, the interior designers, aimed to create three different spaces – WORK, PLAY and MEET – that provide the employees of each company with a space that is conducive to working well, down time and coming together. Each space is also multifunctional so for example the canteen where people eat lunch can also be used for work meetings.

Creative and functional spaces

To clearly indicate each zone, Tarkett’s DESSO x RENS carpet tile collection was installed in a lively color mix. This unique designer collection is made from recycled carpet tiles, giving the space a modern look with an eco-friendly base. The playful design expresses the creative identity of the professionals and encourages innovative thinking.

MEET zone: The carpet tiles provide better acoustics in the semi-enclosed meeting areas and the blue and purple tones of the dark colour scheme give the space a luxurious restaurant feel.

WORK and PLAY zones:  The red and orange colour combination in these zones creates a motivating and action-oriented atmosphere.

Sustainable and timeless designs

Visievormgevers’s vision for the space was brought to life with Tarkett's DESSO X RENS collection. Tarkett’s floorings are made through limited waste, from local materials and are recyclable creating timeless designs and awareness for the environment.
