In collaboration with French designer Constance Guisset, Tarkett created a digital PLAY Book to ignite inspiration among architects and designers.
From the 7th to 16th of September, during Paris Design Week, an installation created from the PLAY Book will transform the Tarkett showroom in Paris into an authentic playground, infusing vitality and circularity into every surface. This inclusive installation engages visitors akin to how the miniature city of PLAY entices its inhabitants to seamlessly transition between realms: from office spaces to schools, via restaurants, sports areas, and shops.
The playground is made from Tarkett's emblematic floor coverings, including linoleum, carpet tiles, homogeneous and heterogeneous vinyls. These materials come from the brand's circular selection -- which guarantees that flooring waste can be collected and recycled post-installation and post-use --, fully aligning with the Start/ReStart approach, at the very heart of both the PLAY booklet and the exhibition.
