The DESSO by Tarkett Origin range is a true embodiment of our Beauty of Circularity philosophy.
Its carpet tile collections, Recharge, Retrace, Emerge and Evolve, were made to be remade in an endless closed-loop cycle. Inspired by the circular process itself, each design is built on the core idea that materials are not in a fixed state, but engaged in a constant cycle of transformation.

Introducing the Newest Additions
Emerge and Evolve offer 32 natural colours, with striking patterns and soft, textural qualities that take inspiration from DESSO’s circular materials and systems.
Emerge
Emerge’s subtle, material-rich design takes its cues from the texture and pattern of reclaimed carpet yarns. Its base tone is complemented by colour accents found within the pattern’s intermittent strokes. With a more evenly distributed pattern, Emerge brings cohesion and calmness to a space.
Evolve
Evolve’s organic design recalls the evolution of upcycled calcium carbonate on its circular journey. Its bold, non-directional pattern makes a strong design statement, and the movement created across each tile can be used to guide visual flow.

An Extended Colour Palette
With a palette of 32 calm and welcoming neutral colours across Emerge and Evolve, and 20 colours for Recharge and Retrace, the Origin range offers multiple options for colour and design coordination.
By focusing on tonal ranges and softer colours, Emerge and Evolve provide a pleasing contrast with the more vivid hues found within the Recharge and Retrace collections.
Endless Flow of Circular Systems
After their long life, Emerge, Evolve, Recharge and Retrace can be returned to our on-site recycling facility to become the next generation of flooring. Our pioneering take-back and recycling programme, ReStart®, makes this circular journey possible, separating yarn and backing at our Carpet Recycling Centre in the Netherlands before they begin their new life. Endlessly flowing from one generation of flooring to the next.
To keep track of the carbon generated and saved over each product’s lifecycle, we calculate and externally verify the Circular Carbon Footprint of our DESSO carpets. We limit the use of virgin raw materials for new products and avoid common carbon-emitting options such as incineration and landfill at product end-of-life.
