A Modern Workplace for Innovation: Boehringer Ingelheim Riga Office Project

In 2025, the Riga office of Boehringer Ingelheim, a leading global pharmaceutical company, underwent a thoughtful interior upgrade that reflects the company’s commitment to quality, innovation, and employee well-being. The project resulted in a contemporary and inspiring workspace where design, functionality, and materials come together seamlessly.

The interior concept and architectural solutions were developed by ARHIS Architects, whose approach emphasises modern aesthetics, sustainability, and human centred design. The result is a refined office environment that supports both focused work and collaboration, while maintaining a strong visual identity aligned with Boehringer Ingelheim’s global values.

To enhance comfort, durability, and design coherence, DESSO Retrace carpet tiles and iD Square Loose-Lay vinyl tiles were installed throughout the office. These flooring solutions were carefully selected for their modern appearance, acoustic benefits, and practical performance in a dynamic office setting. Together, they create a balanced atmosphere—warm, flexible, and suitable for a variety of work modes.

The successful execution of the project was supported by the outstanding work of the Thomson Furniture team. Their professionalism, attention to detail, and collaborative spirit played a key role in delivering a high-quality result that complements the architectural vision and enhances everyday user experience.
