Workland TC Galleria Rīga: A Bold New Chapter in Latvia’s Coworking Culture
In 2024, the vibrant business landscape of Riga gained a striking new addition with the opening of Workland TC Galleria Rīga — a coworking hub unlike any other in the city. Situated on the 5th floor of the upscale shopping centre Galleria Riga, this new location marks a fresh approach to workspaces in Latvia, combining forward-thinking design with functionality and community focus.
The architectural vision behind Workland was brought to life by the Riga-based architects Lauder Architects, known for their ability to transform everyday spaces into immersive environments. With this project, they took a bold step away from conventional office aesthetics, introducing a vivid design narrative that reflects the energy and colour of Riga itself.
Rather than opting for neutral tones and predictable layouts, Lauder Architects infused the space with a unique colour and spatial concept, aiming to surprise and inspire. The interiors create dynamic zones for focused work, informal collaboration, creativity, and chance encounters — each with its own identity, yet unified by a coherent, urban-inspired theme. This fresh approach was driven by a desire to make Workland a catalyst for ideas, cooperation, and professional growth.
On the floors, the design features high-quality materials: DESSO carpet tiles (DESSO Grezzo, DESSO Grezzo Bloom, DESSO Grezzo Vivid, DESSO Fields, DESSO Fuse, DESSO Traverse, DESSO Metallic Shades, DESSO Torso) lend warmth and texture to lounge and collaboration areas, while Tarkett's iQ Surface homogeneous flooring brings a seamless, durable finish to high-traffic zones. These material choices are not only aesthetically appealing but also carefully selected for their ergonomic and acoustic performance — key considerations in modern coworking environments.
Workland Galleria Riga offers a full range of workspace solutions, from lockable private offices for teams of 1 to 12 to meeting and event rooms, as well as open-plan coworking areas. The layout's flexibility allows it to cater to a diverse professional community — from international corporate teams to local freelancers and startups.
More than just a stylish office, Workland is positioned as a business growth platform designed to foster innovation, focus, and connection within Riga's entrepreneurial ecosystem.
With interiors that break the mould, and a mission centred on collaboration and inspiration, Workland TC Galleria Rīga isn't just a place to work — it's a place to grow.
