At Tarkett, we understand that a well-designed office environment is more than just a workplace.

Carefos is a Dutch construction company that focuses on sustainability and climate adaptation for existing homes, buildings, and offices. When it came time to redesign their own offices, architects from Visievormgevers carefully aligned interiors with the architecture of the building. They needed to respect the existing materials and structure to create a harmonious whole that perfectly matched the brand’s identity. The design now features many natural materials and a neutral colour palette with subtle contrasts to bring a lively warmth to every space.

Sustainable materials for a healthy working environment

Sustainability was key when it came to choosing materials. Tarkett's DESSO Carpet Tiles, linoleum floors and hard-wearing wall coverings have contributed to a healthy and sustainable workplace, by minimising CO2 footprints and building a pleasant atmosphere.

Connection and openness

The strength of this design lies in its connection between different spaces. The use of glass walls creates an open and transparent working environment, without losing privacy. A central coffee corner placed underneath a skylight and surrounded by greenery, is a meeting place where employees can come together, collaborate, and relax.
